Is there anything I should do prior to the appointment?
Just a few things. We ask that you allow us a 45 minute window before and after the scheduled time as some of our jobs run shorter/later than others. Please have pets isolated from our work areas. We LOVE pets. However, for their health and safety it’s best they stay away from us. Lastly, please remove valuables and decorations from the fireplace/hearth areas. We will need approximately an 8 x 8 foot area in front of the fireplace to work efficiently. Within reason, our techs will be more than happy to help move larger/heavier items for those who cannot do so themselves.
If the weather is bad, will you need to reschedule?
In most cases, no. A majority of our sweeps are done from the bottom using flexible sweeping rods and the same goes for running a camera. However, we strive to provide the most thorough inspections and our tech’s will schedule a return visit to evaluate these areas at no additional charge (should there be a weather factor that prohibits us from doing so that day).
Are you Certified?
Absolutely! Every tech we send out for a chimney sweep is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) and has undergone rigorous in house training.
Is your service limited to sweeping chimneys?
No way! We provide a number of services including, dryer vent cleanings, fireplace repairs, gas or wood insert installations, new fireplace installations, gas logs (vented or vent free), masonry repair, chimney rebuilds, tuck-pointing, chimney caps, chase covers, wood stoves, gas stoves, and many more on our services page HERE. If you don’t see a service listed just ask! We are also happy to offer you brands we commonly use or you may supply your own!
Do you provide discounts?
Yes we do! As a token of our appreciation, we offer a $5 community leader discount off any service being provided to Veterans, Police, EMT, Firefighters, and Teachers (must have valid proof of ID present at the appointment).
